Tehachapi, California, is located in the Tehachapi Mountain Range of the Sierra Nevada where it swings to the East above Los Angeles. It lies at the ideal altitude of approximately 4000 feet above sea level, with a backdrop of picturesque peaks reaching to 7,900 feet.
